Children's hospital party helpers
Year 12 and 13 Health and Social Care students turned out in force to help out at the Christmas party for the , which took place at Millwall Football Club last Sunday.
The party is an annual treat for children who have been treated at the Evelina Children's Hospital during the year, and this is the third year in a row we've been involved.
Students ran several very popular stalls including face painting, cake decoration, a Christmas art gallery, photo booth and organised schedules for the ice skating. Patients and family members were also encouraged to share their thoughts and memories on heart shaped cards which were placed on a memory tree.

Teacher Carina Storm said: "The students did a fantastic job at taking charge of the activities.
"They have all enjoyed it and got so much out of it. They were barely able to take breaks as the children loved the activities and there was a constant flow of little ones to entertain.
"The students represented HGAED brilliantly. I couldn’t be more proud of them all. They were the last ones of the volunteers to leave the site – so I’m also impressed by their perseverance. We all really enjoyed the day – so worthwhile!"
