Ski Trip 2015 Live - Reports and Pictures

4 April

That's it folks. The end of a fabulous snowsports trip to Arinsal, Andorra. Here are the presentation photographs with the ski/snowboard instructors (who have been outstanding throughout). See you back in England soon. Marcus Kudliskis

One parent writes: "Thank you very much for your hard work. This trip has been very well organised. From dedicated staff to daily communication, everything was outstanding. My daugher had  a very nice time skiing and engaging with others and cannot stop talking about it all." Pascale

This evening we held the awards ceremony. A fantastic end to the evening.....the Disco......jointly held with other schools in resort. Students were truly amazing throughout, with staff from other schools commenting on their excellent manners and behaviour (and their dance moves too!)

Unfortunately the DJ failed to appear so a special guest (see picture) had to step in and didn't let the students down with his choice of music.

The hotel manager stopped me to say that in all her years at the hotel, the Harris group is the 'best behaved', 'most respectful' and 'most organised' school group she has ever had the pleasure to welcome to her hotel.

She stated examples of their behaviour in dinner hall: queuing for buffet, allowing paying guest to be served first, clearing their own plates, tucking chairs away and not making too much noise while eating.

She said she has had no complaints from paying guests (unlike the other schools), as all of our children are in their rooms at 9.30 and have lights out at 10.00. There is no noise on our corridors and the pupils are very respectful of each other, the other school pupils and the adults staying here.

She was delighted that we have chosen to come back next year. She was very positive about all the staff on the trip and had noted how much of their time staff give to make sure the pupils are safe and having fun. Thanks everyone.
