Preparing Your Child for University - Special Event
We are supporting a special event to help children from ethnic minority backgrounds get into university. As you may know, children from ethnic minority backgrounds are under-represented at Britain’s top universities.
The event is run by , a pioneering network established to address the challenges faced by Black students and graduates.
Are you a parent or carer who has asked any of the following questions?
- What do the top UK universities look for?
- Can my child afford to go to university?
- What is the best way to prepare my child for university?
- How can I support my child in making the important decisions that will affect their future?
If you have, this event has been organised for you. A range of education professionals will be delivering workshops and are available on the day to answer all of your questions about university.
Where and when?
Saturday 16 June, 10am-4pm at UCL, Roberts Engineering Building, Torrington Place, London WC1E 7JE. Nearest tube stations: Goodge Street, Warren Street, Euston and Euston Square.
