Starting Secondary School in September? Here are Some Useful Tips

HAGED088If you're starting secondary school this September, here are a couple of useful links you might like to check out.

BBC bitesize has a special section all about starting secondary school including what to expect, coping with classwork, myths about teachers and how to deal with embarrassing parents! It's all at 

Little Fish Theatre are running a summer programme (supported by Southwark Council) to ease transition to secondary school through drama workshops. Through a series of after-school clubs in Year 6, the company uses music, dance, drama and art to explore a range of issues relevant to learning new skills, dealing with risks, making friends and coping with change. It's free, and you can find out more and register online at
